"It's bittersweet that it's over, but I'm excited to see what the future holds," Ronnie Ortiz-Magro told Celebuzz. "These past six seasons have been unforgettable. I have an extension of my family now, and I'm walking away with the girl of my dreams and so many amazing memories." What's up next for Ortiz-Magro after Jersey Shore says goodbye? He and co-star Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola have been dating on and off since the hit show's first season. When MTV debuted the controversial reality show in December 2009, the cast's stars were quickly on the rise, including Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino,Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul 'DJ Pauly D' DelVecchio, Vinny Guadagnino, and Jenni "JWoww" Farley. "I'm definitely nostalgic, but ready to move forward with some exciting things already in the pipeline," Ortiz-Magro added. "Gotta thank MTV and all the fans — wouldn't have been possible without them." And while the cast won't return to summer on the Shore, a few of the stars will continue with their planned MTV spinoff series. Snooki — who gave birth to son Lorenzo LaValle on Sunday — and her BFF costar JWoww will continue with their show, Snooki & JWoww, which premiered its first 12-episode season on June 21. It was confirmed earlier this month that the ladies will film a second season. The Pauly D Project, which debuted in March, has yet to announce another season. The Situation made the leap to a scripted series with a small cameo role on ABC's Suburgatory and is now a housemate on season 10 of Celebrity Big Brother. The franchise series' last season kicks off on Oct. 4 at 10 PM ET/PT, followed by bonus programming of fan-favorite after-shows and reunion specials.
