Actor Zach Braff was the first to demonstrate, simply taking a picture of an invisible President Barack Obama on any empty chair. Clint started the idea during his speech at the Republican National Convention when he pretended to speak to an absent Commander in Chief by pointing to an empty chair… While nearly 100,000 people Tweeted about Clint's bizarre behavior within hours of his speech, around 20 percent of the discussion was about the #Eastwooding fad. These fads are not new. We remember when Maria Menounos Tebowed with Tim Tebow. Or when Chris Brown, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, and even the likes of Hugh Hefner all got on board with Planking.
