Hathaway, 29, wore a custom-made Valentino gown with a headpiece and veil while Shulman, 31, sported a traditional black tuxedo and tie. After the ceremony, guests spread among 18 tables, surrounded by flowers estimated to be worth more than $100,000, all under a private marquee assembled especially for the occasion. San Francisco-based jazz trio American Social Club provided tunes for the first hour, before a Los Angeles-based DJ took over music duties. "Adam was so excited.
