The Seahawks are the current 'surprise' team in the league in my opinion. Despite a tough loss last week in Detroit, the 'Hawks are still 4-4 and just two games behind the Niners in the NFC West.
They're tied with the former 'surprise' team, the Arizona Cardinals, but the Cards are pretty much toast after starting 4-0 and then losing four in a row. Russell Wilson needs to get the Seahawks' passing game going, and with Marshawn Lynch in the backfield keeping defenses honest, he should be able to, especially at home.
This week features five road favorites, including the Miami Dolphins heading into Indianapolis. Both teams are kind of playing ahead of where the experts figured they would, and whoever wins this game will have a nice advantage for a wildcard spot.
If I had to pick a couple of trap games this week, one would be Detroit being a 3.5 point favorite in Jacksonville and the Chargers being an eight point favorite hosting Kansas City Thursday night. The Chargers should win, but I don't know if it'll be by eight. Matt Cassel is starting for KC again, and he showed that he can move the ball last week.
