Britney Spears' self-proclaimed former "manager" Sam Lutfi, who is suing her for defamation, claims a drug-sniffing dog found a stash of crystal meth in her home.
Lutfi claims Britney, along with her parents Lynn and Jamie, defamed him by saying he drugged the singer during her dark period (very late 2006- very early 2008).
Britney will not take the stand in the case, as a judge found she is not competent to testify as a result of the conservatorship she's under because of a "medical issue."
Sam wants her to be questioned about one incident in particular:
Lutfi says that at one point in 2007, he "brought drug-sniffing dogs into her home ... and they found a cache of crystal methedrine, which was destroyed."
"Britney should further testify that drug dogs found 'hot spots of drug residue in the carpeting, where her young sons [ages 1 and 3] played during visits."
Lutfi says he covered it up by shampooing and replacing the carpet.
Sam also claims Britney told him her dad Jamie "was a violent racist," and an abusive alcoholic ... this is the same father widely credited with saving her life.
Britney's reps could not be reached for comment, but it's surprising they haven't been able to get this case thrown out yet like they have so many others.
Stay tuned.
